Dear Friends of NuSocia,
With the dawn of a new year 2021, we have only to thank you for your continued support. The past year has been tough on everyone - mentally to all and medically as well to some of us. Globally, behind the pandemic's unfathomable statistics and widespread impact on economies, there are stories of personal pain and loss. What this period however has also shown us is a very positive side of humanity – hope and resilience as well as the beauty of life. It showed us, how life can run in a much more sustainable way, enjoying the nature and preserving it as well. Margaret Mead, a cultural anthropologist had once said “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has”.
In this first edition of the 2021 newsletter, we would like to celebrate this spirit of sustainable living and role that each individual can play towards bettering the lives of our environment and communities. Cheers to new beginnings and a sustainable 2021!
